LocoLabs first engaged on a 9-month contract to rescue a troubled government project from a university laboratory. Subsequent contracts funded numerous enhancements and upgrades, culminating multiple years later with an extremely hardened yet lightweight carbon fiber design that provides the highest resolution and sensitivity of any portable CZT-based Gamma Imaging Spectrometer instrument produced.
